If plugNmeet is not working, don’t worry 😊 Most issues can be solved quickly by following the steps below. Please go through each step before contacting Joe. This helps us resolve problems faster and keeps classes running smoothly for everyone.
Before contacting Joe:
Step 1: Close Everything and Try Again
1. Close the plugNmeet tab.
2. Close all browser windows completely.
3. Wait about 10 seconds.
4. Open your browser again.
5. Click the original class link and try to enter.
Sometimes this simple reset solves the issue.
Step 2: Clear Browser Data (Important Step)
1. Open your browser.
2. Click the three dots in the top right corner.
3. Click Settings.
4. Go to Privacy or Privacy and Security.
5. Click Clear browsing data.
Select:
> Cookies and other site data
> Cached images and files
6. Click Clear.
7. Close the browser.
8. Open it again and try the class link.
This often fixes login problems.
Step 3: Make Sure Pop-Ups Are Allowed
1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Site permissions or Privacy.
3. Find Pop-ups and redirects.
4. Make sure pop-ups are set to Allowed.
PlugNmeet needs pop-ups to open correctly.
Step 4: Try a Different Browser
If one browser does not work, try another one.
Recommended browsers:
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Google Chrome
- Safari (Mac only)
Using an updated browser helps prevent technical issues.
Step 5: Restart Your Computer
1. Click the Start menu.
2. Click Power.
3. Click Restart (not Sleep).
4. Wait until the computer fully turns on.
Try the class link again.
A full restart can fix many hidden problems.
Step 6: Test From Your Phone Using Mobile Data (Not Wi-Fi)
Turn off Wi-Fi on your phone.
Turn on mobile data.
Open the class link on your phone.
If it works on your phone using mobile data but not on your computer, the issue may be related to your computer settings or home internet.
