  • Tell someone something

That’s it. Start there.

⚠️ The Real Difference

  • Say = the message
  • Tell = the person

If there’s no person, use say
If there is a person, use tell

🚨 Instructions = ALWAYS “TELL”

  • She told me to wait
  • The teacher told us to study
